We want your experience with The Rail Nigeria to be smooth, stress-free, and exactly what you expect.
Please take a moment to read this before placing your order.


1️⃣ Ready-To-Wear vs Made-To-Order

We offer two types of products:

Ready-To-Wear (RTW)

  • In stock and ready to ship
  • Usually processed within 1–2 working days

Made-To-Order (MTO)

  • Produced especially for you
  • Requires 7–21 business days for production
  • No express production available

⚠️ Delivery time starts after production is complete, not at checkout.

If you need something urgently, please confirm that it is Ready-To-Wear before ordering.


2️⃣ Dispatch vs Delivery (This Is Important)

  • Dispatch = when your order leaves our studio
  • Delivery = when the courier brings it to you

Courier timelines begin after dispatch, not after payment.

“Next-day” or “express” delivery refers to transit time, not production or processing time.


3️⃣ Shipping Fees & Extra Charges

  • Shipping fees shown at checkout are estimates
  • Final fees depend on weight, packaging, and destination
  • If shipping costs increase, we will contact you before sending package out.

We do not control courier prices.


4️⃣ Customs & Duties (International Orders)

  • We do not charge customs duties or import taxes
  • These are set by your country and paid directly to the courier (e.g. DHL) on arrival
  • We cannot estimate or waive customs fees

If duties are refused and the parcel is returned, no refund will be issued.


5️⃣ Event Dates & Urgent Orders

If your order is for:

  • A wedding
  • A party
  • A trip
  • Any fixed event date

👉 Please order early and clearly state your event date in the order notes.

While we try our best, we cannot guarantee delivery by a specific date due to production and courier timelines.


6️⃣ Address & Contact Details

Please double-check:

  • Your delivery address
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address

Incorrect details can cause delays, failed deliveries, or extra charges.

7️⃣ Returns & Exchanges (Quick Summary)

  • Made-To-Order items: final sale
  • Sale items: final sale
  • Ready-To-Wear: exchange only (subject to policy)
  • Shipping fees: non-refundable

8️⃣ Colours, Fit & Styling

  • Colours may appear slightly different on different screens
  • Styling, accessories, or layering shown in photos are for inspiration only
  • Always check the size chart before ordering

9️⃣ Failed, Refused or Uncollected Deliveries

If a parcel is:

  • Refused
  • Not collected
  • Returned due to unpaid customs or incorrect details
  • No refunds will be issued.

Store credit may be offered once returned items are received and inspected.
