About The Rail

The Rail is a contemporary womenswear brand rooted in modern femininity, thoughtful design, and the quiet confidence of clothes that truly fit.

Founded in Nigeria in 2023, The Rail was created for women who want to feel elegant without trying too hard — women who move through different moments of life and want pieces that move with them.

From everyday essentials to dresses for special occasions, we design with intention, softness, and structure in equal measure.

Our Story

The Rail was founded by women who love clothes and love to dress up for every ocassion.

While living abroad, we experienced first-hand how difficult it was to find clothing that fit tall women, curvy women, and women who didn’t fall neatly into standard sizing — without compromising on style or femininity.

When we returned home to Nigeria, we knew we wanted to build something different.

A brand that understood real bodies.
A brand that respected craftsmanship.
A brand that felt elevated, wearable, and deeply feminine.

That vision became The Rail.

Designed for Real Women

At The Rail, we design for women who live full lives.

Women who want:

  • Dresses that sit properly on all frames
  • Silhouettes that honour curves, not hide them
  • Pieces that feel beautiful for everyday wear, but special enough for moments that matter

Our collections include both Ready-To-Wear and Made-To-Order pieces, allowing us to serve a wider range of sizes while maintaining fit and quality.

Fashion should feel considered — not restrictive.

Craftsmanship & Quality

Every Rail piece begins with clean lines, refined proportions, and careful attention to fit.

We focus on:

  • Beautiful drape and movement
  • Elevated fabrics
  • Limited production runs

We believe in quality over mass production, producing in small quantities to preserve uniqueness and ensure every garment meets our standards.

When you wear The Rail, you feel the intention in every stitch.

Ethical Production

Our tailors are at the heart of our brand.

We are committed to ethical production and fair wages, paying our artisans well above minimum wage in recognition of their skill, time, and craftsmanship.

Supporting The Rail means supporting:

  • Local production
  • Skilled labour
  • Fashion made with respect and care

Inspired by Nigeria. Made for the World.

The Rail is proudly Nigerian.

The Rail is made in Nigeria, worn everywhere.

Welcome to The Rail
