Returns & Exchange
Due to the nature of our business and products, the following terms and conditions govern our Returns and Exchanges. Please note that this policy differs from our DELIVERY POLICY, which can be accessed HERE. Proof of Payment
Proof of payment is required for all returns and exchanges.
Return Policy
- Conditions for Exchange: We accept exchanges for unworn, unwashed, and unaltered items in their original condition, including all original tags.
Exchange Timeframes
Items eligible for exchange must be returned within the following timeframes, either for a different size, style, or store credit:
- Abuja Orders: Within 2 business days from the date of delivery/pickup.
- Nigeria (Outside Abuja): Within 5 business days from the date of delivery.
- International Orders: Within 10 business days from the date of delivery.
Returned items must include intact tags. If the purchase included a free promotional item, it must be returned along with the purchased item. Items that do not meet these conditions will not be accepted and will be returned to the customer.
Inspection Process
Once we receive your item, it will undergo a quality inspection. If the item passes inspection, it will be eligible for exchange. If the item does not pass the quality check, it will be sent back to the customer.
Please allow an additional 7-10 business days for us to process your exchange after it arrives at our warehouse.
Final Sale Items
All sale items (including Black Friday and Clearance items) are final sale and cannot be returned, unless an incorrect size or style was received.
Return Shipping
The Rail Nigeria is not responsible for return shipping expenses. All return shipping and delivery costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Refund Policy
Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of its status. If your refund is approved, we will either issue a gift card for store credit or refund the original payment method within 7-10 business days, depending on the payment gateway. Items deemed faulty due to production error may have the delivery charge reimbursed at our discretion.
Exchange Voucher
All exchanges are processed through The Rail Clothing Exchange Voucher, which is equivalent to the value of the product purchased (excluding delivery charges). This voucher can be used as a coupon code for future purchases and can be applied across multiple orders until the balance is fully used.
How to Use the Exchange Voucher
- Add items to your cart as you would when paying with your card or bank transfer.
- At checkout, enter your voucher code in the coupon section.
- The voucher amount will be applied to your total order cost, with any remaining balance available for future use.
- If the order total exceeds the voucher balance, you will need to complete the remaining payment using your card or bank transfer.
