Delivery Process

For deliveries outside Abuja, Nigeria, The Rail Nigeria partners with GIG or DHL. Each shipment includes tracking, and a tracking number will be provided via email. Please ensure that your email address is correct to receive timely updates.

Delivery Costs

Please note that The Rail Nigeria does not set delivery costs; these are determined by the respective courier companies.

Important Information

Due to varying fabric sizes and weights, we cannot confirm the exact weight of your package until it is ready for shipping. The shipping rates listed on our website apply to packages weighing between 0.5 to 2kg. If your package exceeds 2kg, we will contact you to cover the additional shipping balance.

You may choose to use your own shipping method. If you select this option, please be aware that once your package is handed over to your designated shipper, The Rail Nigeria is not liable for any loss or theft.

Production & Ready-to-Wear (RTW)

The Rail Nigeria offers both Ready-To-Wear and Made-To-Order items. This means that some items are available for immediate dispatch, while others may require production before shipping. Production times can vary from 2 to 10 business days, with no option for express production. Therefore, your items may be dispatched anytime between the 2nd and the 10th day of production.

Delivery within Nigeria can take 1 to 5 business days after production is complete. If you require an item urgently, please verify that it is in stock and does not require additional production time before dispatch.

Please note that we do not do amendments. 

If the fabric needed for your made-to-order piece is out of stock and we are able to procure it, this may delay the delivery timeline. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to complete your order.

While items may be marked as "in stock" on our website, this indicates availability for production but does not necessarily mean the item is immediately ready for shipping. Additional processing time may be required before dispatch.

If you are taller than average, please inform us when placing your order. We offer limited tall lengths (63-65 inches).

Delivery Duration

  • Production Time: 1 - 10 business days
  • Delivery Time within Abuja: 1 - 2 business days
  • Interstate Delivery within Nigeria: 2 - 5 business days
  • International Delivery: 5 - 14 business days

Please note that deliveries are not made on weekends or public holidays.

If you need an item urgently, please indicate the required date in the order note or email us directly.

Delivery Costs

Delivery costs vary based on location and weight of the items. For any inquiries related to deliveries, such as delays, please contact our customer support team at support@therailclothing.com.

Customs Charges

International orders may incur customs or import duties upon arrival in the destination country. All such charges are the responsibility of the recipient. The Rail Nigeria is not liable for these fees. If the recipient refuses to pay customs charges and the parcel is returned, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from any applicable refund.

Change of Delivery Details

If you need to update your delivery address or contact information, please email support@therailclothing.com with your order name and number immediately. Note that this may cause further delays if the order has already been processed for delivery. If the package has already reached the initial delivery address, additional fees may apply for address changes.

Failed Delivery Attempts

If a delivery attempt fails due to unavailability, incorrect address, or incorrect contact information, a second delivery attempt may be made. This may incur an additional fee at the discretion of the courier service. For further questions, please contact our customer support team.
